Remember the Snake Pit? It is now on it's way to becoming a real vegetable garden.
You know the saying "Everything's bigger in Texas" ? It must be true because these are supposed to be cherry tomatoes:
Look at this Romaine lettuce...a little proof that the mixture of bat poo and molasses does work:
This is how tall our corn and zucchini is now. I figure I will take another picture in a couple of weeks to see the difference. I have never grown corn before and I hear it's pretty tricky...any advice?
I sure hope the neighbors like yellow squash...we already have about 20 of these little guys. Again, I must give credit to the bat poo and the liquid seaweed.
The strawberries do not last long around here, so we will never have a basket full or anything. There is no organic pest control for 3 children who cannot resist a red juicy strawberry sitting in the sun.

I am having intense garden envy. Living in CO, our growing season has not even started yet. We don't plant until after Mother's Day. But I have Okra starts and beans and basil ready to go in on Sunday. Your peppers are beautiful!
This was perfect for see, taste, smell task that Kate set down. Beautiful pics.
