There is nothing like sitting alone with a cup of coffee before the rest of the house wakes up. I should be taking this time to do the million and one things that need to get done, but I want to sit here and blog.
*I completed my run early this morning and was able to maintain a 9 minute 30 second pace the entire time...this is slow to some people, but very good for these little legs of mine. I have a long way to go because I want to maintain that pace for the entire half marathon in 12 1/2 weeks. This will put me through the finish line at 2 hrs and 4 minutes. Uh...I just realized that now that I posted it on my blog for millions, thousands, hundreds... about the 10 people who read my blog, I will have to finish in that time. I'm working on it.
* I am still working on my new blog, but it will be awhile. It is very different from this one, so I am trying to learn it and get all my posts from this one imported to that one. I might just have to have a link from here to there. Maybe a few more weeks before it is born.
*I am still working on new stuff for my website (branding, logos, marketing materials)...all during the busy season. I'm thinking all that stuff needs to be put on hold until the spring so that I don't end up a total basket case...that's why I run...free therapy.
*I am debating about offering Christmas Cards this year as part of a package when you have your pictures taken....I am still thinking about it and your feedback would really help.
*Had dental appointments for my kids and my poor son has so many many problems with his little teeth due to the chemo. It has even damaged some of the permanent teeth that have not fully come in yet. His little mouth needs so much work that he will have to be fully sedated for his next appointment...I feel bad for him, but we think that if the only damage that comes from the cancer and chemo is bad teeth we are so blessed.
*In September I have 2 huge events to photograph... a family reunion of 25 people in Kerrville and a wedding (sorry, I do not normally do weddings). The wedding involves travel, in the car, with the whole family, all the way to Georgia.
I have so much other stuff on my mind these days, but it feels good to spill a little bit of it here. Thanks internet! I will blog at you more later today!
