How I love the colors of summer...so many to choose from!
Amy's image is the one of the lights. I am so in love with it. I think she should print it in a large canvas and hang it up on a wall...sounds strange, but I think I might hang it up in my drab laundry room so that I have something beautiful to look at while I'm folding little socks and underwear. I really hate folding laundry, so at least I would be happy while looking at this.
"Here's mine! The lights on the deck are my favorite colors. Dining al
fresco is just fun in the summer (if you can avoid the flies :) ). And the
colors are all summer - yellow like the sunrise, blue like the sky and sea,
green like the grass and trees and red and orange like the warm summer
sunset!
Amy"
Is it wrong that I buy popsicles for my kids just because I like the colors???
Big news for my talented friend Amy Craft...I saw her beautiful new logo last night which can only mean one thing....her blog and website are on the horizon. Be on the lookout for it. I have a feeling they will be hugely popular and filled with stunning images. I will announce it on my blog when they are born!
Someone recently asked me why I would do this...why I would put Amy's photo business on my blog since we only live a few miles from each other, why would I spread the word about her business...uh, why wouldn't I??? I LOVE my photo girlfriends. In a job that has no 'co-workers', it's like having co-workers. I LOVE seeing other women watch their dreams unfold. Another local photographer did this for me, so why wouldn't I do this for someone else? I want my friend to experience the same feelings of fulfillment and excitement I have had over the years. If I get all wrapped up in worrying about my 'competition', then I am not thinking about the first priority...my clients! Honestly, it never occurred to me to NOT support my photog friends.
So, with that said "Go Amy Go!!!" I'm cheering you on all the way!
Yippee, I am eagerly awaiting her blog myself - we had several popsicles at our house today too. I use them to mend owies and well, we had one fat lip and one bitten tongue today - so it goes with summer. Nothing a little frozen fruit juice can't cure :)

Great colors! The yellows really go together nicely. :) Why should you make yourself and your kids happy and buy the Popsicles everyone wants.
