I saw these DIY glow in the dark lanterns on Pinterest. They are super easy to make. You simply cut open a glow-stick (they are non-toxic) and empty the contents into a small mason jar. Tighten the lid and let your child swirl the contents around the jar. My kids love making these and they last through the night.

I wonder if you could put them in the freezer and they would work later.. like a glow stick?! I might have to try this.. really cute Idea!
